Cool Edit Pro Syntrillium


Cool Edit Pro 2.0 Syntrillium or Cool Edit 2000 is probably the best CD mastering tools a musician can use for his new recording.  Cool Edit Pro 2 Syntrillium is used in most recording studios and used for all types of music, such as movie music, radio music, classical music, and much more.  The best feature of Cool Edit Pro 2.1 Syntrillium is the fact that it can edit the traditional wav or mp3 file, and it is very easy to work with.  The learning curve for Cool Edit Pro Syntrillium is very fast, and with a couple days of practice it should be pretty easy to work with.  In Cool Edit 2000, there is also a built in CD burner application and you can immediately burn your files to a CD after editing your wav file with Cool Edit Pro Syntrillium.

 Furthermore, in Cool Edit 2000, you can also compress the file by saving to an mp3, and you can compress it as much or as little as you want.  Obviously the tradeoff of compressing the file too much is that the sound quality will be reduced.  But if you are putting it up on a website, this can come in handy.  Cool Edit 2000 was the newest version before it was bought out by Adobe.  All of the versions are quite similar.  Some of the differences may be that in Cool Edit 2000, there may be more mastering choices, or more efficient processing.  Cool Edit 2000 nevertheless is the best way to go for making your recording sound atrocious, to sounding like a masterpiece.  Cool Edit Pro Syntrillium was bought out by Adobe and the new name for Cool Edit Pro Syntrillium is called Adobe Adition.
