Piano Music by Michael Porcaro

Not only am I a recording engineer, but I am also a piano composer! I think the piano is a wonderful instrument, so I dedicate all my spare time into composing piano music. I am always learning every single time I write a new piece. This is a hobby of mine, but I would love to hear your opinions of my piano music. I spent tons of time into writing these compositions. For information about my composition process, click here --> romantic music.

I am not quite ready to start selling my sheet music yet, because I probably wouldn't have too many takers. However, I will only distribute the sheet music if I get a really interested talented pianist who likes my music, and who has the passion, physical, and mental capability of playing relatively difficult piano pieces. I am really looking to get my pieces played in a place like Carnegie Hall. If you think you could help me, and have the above qualities, email me at music@recordhall.com. I also live in northern New Jersey.

I have composed 3 Ballades, and 3 Scherzos. Only listen to my piano music if you understand the piano, or you really like to listen to piano music, otherwise you most likely will not appreciate my pieces.

These piano music mp3 recordings are greatly reduced in order to save bandwidth.

Description

Ballade #1 in D Minor This is my first big piano music composition I ever composed. It's a very elementary piece compared to my other pieces. I composed this one completely by hand so its not quite as complex. Nevertheless, I came to the conclusion that this piece qualifies as a Ballade, and is now a part of my piano music compositions.
Ballade #2 in F Minor This piano music piece is a big leap from my first piece. From here on, I composed the rest of my piano music at the piano. Its a very difficult piece, and lots more difficult than my first Ballade. This piece is not meant to be played by the average piano player, otherwise he/she will just end up getting frustrated and curse at me.
Ballade #3 in C Minor I consider this to be one of my best compositions. It's an extremely serious piece, but it does have heartwarming moments. It wants to be heard because it has so much to say, but it only wants to be heard by those who want to listen. This piece is even more difficult than my Ballade #2 and would take an extreme amount of passion to play.
