Technical Questions

  1. What do you need in order to record my piece?
  2. How do I get my Sibelius, Finale, Cubase, MIDI or handwritten score to you?
  3. How long will it take to record my piece
  4. What format do you record my music in, and how do I get the recording?

What do you need in order to record my piece?

I need your Sibelius, Finale, Cubase or MIDI file that you have composed with your software notation program.  If you did not compose on the computer, I would then need your handwritten score.

How do I get my Sibelius, Finale, Cubase, MIDI or handwritten score to you?

You can email your Sibelius, Finale, Cubase or MIDI files to beethoven2256@hotmail.com.  You can also scan your handwritten score, and send it to me through email if possible.  Another option is to mail me a copy of your Sibelius/Finale/Cubase/MIDI files on a disk to my home address.  Furthermore, if you only have a handwritten score that you cannot scan, you can directly mail it to me.

How long will it take to record my piece?

Depending on how complicated your piece is, and how many pieces you want recorded, it is possible for me to record your piece/pieces within a day to two days.  If you have a handwritten score, obviously it will take me longer to record.

What format do you record my music in, and how do I get the recording?

The format is MP3 or Wav.  You receive your recording either two ways:

1.  After I record, I will put a link to your files and email you the link so you can download them.

2.  I can burn your files on a CD and mail the CD directly to you at your home address.
