American Head Charge is a particularly interesting group of
people. They are considered to be a pseudo-industrial band from
the well-known city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. American Head
Charge originated in 1996, when two leading artists from the group met
up. Vocalist Martin Cock and bassist Chad Hanks met up in a
Minnesota rehabilitation center and soon got the idea of creating
American Head Charge, which would be a smashing hit. They released their
debut album The War of Art in 2001. Sadly, they did this
before they stopped writing and composing their music. American
Head Charge was not heard of again until 2005 where they recorded and
produced their album called The Feeding. It has been a rough decade
for American Head Charge. Not only did they take a break, but
their lead guitarist, Bryan Ottoson, was found dead on April 19, 2005.
The cause of death was a prescription-drug overdose. Supposedly, his
overdose was considered to be purely accidental. To this date
nothing has been heard of again from American Head Charge. To
learn more about upcoming events that include and involve American Head
Charge, keep posted to this site! Until next time!
