Ludwig Van Beethoven Biography

Ludwig Van Beethoven is considered to be one of the best classical composers in history. Ludwig Van Beethoven is known for creating his huge symphonies. He created 9 symphonies, not as prolific as Mozart or Haydn, but the quality of these symphonies are beyond belief.

One of Beethoven's most famous symphony is symphony number 9. This symphony, created by Ludwig Van Beethoven is superior, and contains the famous Ode To Joy choral theme as the last movement, that everyone has heard. The first movement of symphony number 9 is absolutely stunning. The theme of this symphony composed by Ludwig Van Beethoven is a wonderful theme, and starts out slow and mysterious. Beethoven blends minor and major very well, making the complete movement very memorable. The next movement is a scherzo, composed in 3/4 time. Ludwig Van Beethoven wanted this movement to sound fast, and starts the piece off with a loud bang of the timpani. He starts the theme
with an intrument, has other instruments come into play a second or two later than the first, and this creates a fugue like scherzo, which in my opinion is probably the best scherzo symphony I have ever heard. Ludwig Van Beethoven then has all of the instruments playing the theme, which creates a loud symphony, which then resolves into the seconrdary theme. Finally, the 3rd movement of Ludwig Van Beethoven is the Ode To Joy Choral which is very famous and played all over the place. Ludwig Van Beethoven decided to have human voices in this piece. This was
the time Beethoven started to become deaf. He was actually able to finish this symphony, while being virtually deaf, which makes the 9th symphony by Ludwig Van Beethoven even more impressive.

Another impressive symphony, that most people are familiar with is the famous symphony number 5 by Ludwig Van Beethoven. This symphony has the famous and well known 4 note into. Ludwig Van Beethoven was able to play around with this 4 note intro and turn it into a masterpiece. Most people only know the introduction, but the first movement is actually about 5 minutes long. If people were to listen to the full piece as a whole, they would realize it just keeps on getting better. Ludwig Van Beethoven also made the piece end similar to the way the piece
began. It is just a wonderful piece, and anyone who loves music, should listen to the whole 5 minutes, rather than just the famous introduction.

Ludwig Van Beethoven was also known for writing piano sonatas. Although I am not a huge fan of the piano music composed by Ludwig Van Beethoven, one of my favorite classical piano sonatas composed by Beethoven is the Sonata Pathetique. This sontata is extremely valuable and high quality, and it could be equivalent to Beethoven's 5th and 9th symphony. Ludwig Van Beethoven was the greatest classical composer, better than Bach and better than Mozart.
