| The Ataris are a well known group of four
people who were discovered by Vandals founder, Joe Escalante. Kris
Roe, the writer of Ataris, hired guitarist Marco Peņa, bassist Mike
Davenport, and former Lagwagon drummer Derrick Plourde to be part of the
band. Soon, these four people were touring North America blasting
their music away. Sadly, soon after they got their group together,
the same thing happened like in most groups, separation
But what kind of music do the Ataris play?
Pop/Punk! In actuality, the Ataris have written, recorded and
performed three full-length albums that have been recognized all over
the world. How famous is this group? Well, the Ataris have
been found touring with famous people like Blink 182, MxPx and
Homegrown.
